About Max

Max grew up in the village of Placencia, Belize chasing fish on the beach. When he saw a first saw a fly rod he had to have one. He practiced for years and when the opportunity came, he bought his 22' boat and started to chase Permit in particular.

Over the years, he has produced numerous Grand/Super Slams and has caught over 10 Permit in a day. He understands fish behavior and what it takes to get the most finicky Permit to eat.
